
Dr. Christopher Bowen is Founder and Senior Pastor of Living Faith International Ministries. Called by God at the age of seven to preach the Gospel, he did not begin to fulfill the call until he was fifteen. After graduating high school in South Charleston, Ohio, Pastor Chris attended Beulah Heights Bible College in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his Bachelor’s degree in 1987. He met his wife, Kathy while at Beulah Heights and they married in 1985. From there, God launched them into the ministry together.
On May 20, 1990, Pastor Chris founded Living Faith Tabernacle in a small hotel room with 15 members. The ministry has grown at a phenomenal rate and after the seventh building project, the sanctuary on Old Dixie Highway in Forest Park, Georgia now seats 1,300 people. The church hosts 5 services each Sunday and holds weekly Bible studies and youth services on Wednesdays.
Dr. Bowen continued his education, receiving his Masters degree in Leadership Development at Southwestern Christian University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and his Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Oral Roberts University in April 2011. In addition to his duties as senior pastor, he is a faculty member at Beulah Heights University, the Executive Director of Dream Releaser Coaching, a life coach, and Bishop to 62 ministers, 9 churches in 3 countries. In addition to operating in leadership of ministries, he is also a business owner and entrepreneur. He has held meetings with T.L. Lowery, Mark Rutland, John Avanzini, John Starnes, Judy Jacobs, Samuel Chand, John Maxwell, and many more.
